Public Health England’s Flood Advice Guide

This 8-page guide from Public Health England has been compiled in association with the Environment Agency. It contains a similar message to that provided elsewhere, but it has the advantage that it contains a lot of photographs to illustrate its points. This makes it an easier read than some guides and might be suitable for older children.

As the title suggests, it also contains more information on health issues than other guides.

It contains information on:

  • Planning for flooding before it happens
  • What to do during a flood
  • Recovering from and cleaning up after a flood

To download your copy of the guide just fill in the form on the right. You will be able to download it immediately by clicking on the link that will appear below the form and you will receive it as an attachment to an email as well.
