Flood Doors

Replacing your existing doors with Flood Doors gives you ultimate peace of mind and simplicity. It means that you don’t have to worry about installing flood panels to protect doorways, so there’s no chance of getting caught out if flooding occurs suddenly or while you are away.

Of course, you also have to have other ‘automatic’ protection in place such as the SMART Airbrick and Non Return Valves. Please note, that in some circumstances that won’t be adequate protection, so it’s always better to have a Flood Defence Survey carried out.

The UKFDA can supply flood resistant doors in a range of styles, colours and fittings, single width and double width.

All these doors have been tested against the standard set of tests as defined in PAS 1188-1:2014 which represent typical conditions that might be experienced during a flood in the UK.

This involves testing a product for leakage under static water levels of 600mm, waves up to 100mm high and parallel currents up to 1.0 m/s.
